We use the laws set in place to protect you, the consumer; in order to delete inaccurate or unverified information as well as update your current information from your credit reports.
The Fair Credit Reporting Act was created for the consumer, so that they may dispute any information showing on their credit file that is misleading, negative or inaccurate.
A disputed credit listing must be accurate and verifiable for it to remain on the credit report.
The reinvestigation must be completed within 30 days, if the credit bureaus do not meet this deadline the listing must be removed. Often disputed credit items cannot be verified: the creditor may no longer possess the information to validate the debt.
We can give you an idea but keep in mind no one case is alike.
It could take from as little as 30 days or up to six months to see results. It all depends on the client and the credit situation.
The progress of your case will depend on how quickly you turn in credit reports to us, the nature of your case, and the level of credit bureau/creditors cooperation.
No, everything can be done right over the internet and the phone.
You will still receive the same attention and customer service without having to inconvenience yourself or make any changes to your daily schedule.
Once we’ve received your credit reports, we will prepare your dispute letters accordingly to all three credit bureaus (Transunion, Equifax and Experian). Once the credit bureaus receive the dispute letter via certified mail they will begin their investigation.
At the conclusion of the credit bureau’s investigation, a new copy of the credit report should be sent to your home along with any deletions or improvements.
You then copy and send us the new credit report. We will update your credit file with the new credit report.
Yes, we do. Although you sign up together and receive a discounted couple rate each will be handled individually.
